Creusabro® Dual is not just a wear plate, it’s a next-generation steel engineered for the harshest sliding abrasion conditions, where conventional 500HB or 550HB water quenched steels and overlays fall short.

Its secret? A unique metallurgical design based on high titanium content (≈0.6%), combined with oil quenching and the proven TRIP-effect (Transformation Induced by Plasticity). This results in exceptional wear resistance, as the material actively hardens in service +70 HB at the surface, while remaining ductile in its core.

The fine dispersion of titanium carbides (3000 HV) acts like “embedded armor” against wear, giving Dual its record-level sliding abrasion performance. And with low residual stress, the plate is processable in complex shapes, while still delivering unmatched durability.
